  • Fiberglass Fenders, possibly for sale. FEELER

I just got off the phone with a company willing to make parts for our Festivas. I just want to see how many of you would be interested.

Is fenders the only thing they can make? What kind of price would we be looking at?
The normal is not always normal... MOST is not ALL... And any job can be hard if you don't have the right tools!!!

the intent is that replacement body parts would be available in fiberglass so that they could be easily modified by the consumer or the manufacture to suit a need/look. from what i got from Will, front bumper covers, hoods, fenders, side skirts and rear bumper covers could be made for a wide body kit.
        Trees aren't kind to me...

I am interested in add on items like spoilers and skirts. A better floor console!!! I think Wes has the same thing going from a place in Cali. Competition is always good. His CF hood looked very good though.

Fenders would be a start because I am unaware of any FG fenders as of yet - and like preiously stated they could be eaisily modified

I would like a wide body kit so as to run a Escort GT running gear complete with engine sub frame and rear Escort GT setup.

Yes I know it's a lot of work.

Have two Escort GT's donor cars.

Ok guys the reason I posted a feeler was to give the company a rough idea of how many units will be made. This is what drives the cost per piece. As of right now I have no prices but I hope to soon. Oh and 2 wide body designs are bouncing around my head so give me some input. Thanks, Will

Why fiberglass fenders? Wouldn't they end up being heavier than the thin metal ones we have?

I was just going to say they would be easier to modify for other things but would end up being heavier than the metal fenders, heck a fender for a festiva weighs about as much as a lugnut on my f-250
