  • power door locks question

good for three days I have been installing the power door locks on my car, and work with the alarm .... but when connected I see that the solenoid are not strong enough to open the door .... makes a poor attempt to get on and off but not strong enough .....

I read that some put in a relay to have more strength, some of you know where I connect the relay, if a relay for each line pulse (top and bottom), and so I use comfiguracion.

You probably have them installed wrong. Have the actuator push up/down on the rod for the interior lock/unlock knob. I have installed several actuators and have never had a problem with them being too weak.

Also, a relay will do nothing for strength. A relay is an electronic switch, it will not increase power.

unless the power source is to weak to give them the power they need to work... right?

really do not know if it is a power loss, but when I try two of the solenoid, it works perfect but my Festy is four doors so when I install the four solenoid up and down without force

Here's a video for easy viewing .. I have something really frustrated .. and really apologize for my English is not very good ..

The first test I do with the four solenoid and the last two and I can clearly notice the difference as activated.
