  • Rear shoulder belts in a 88'

Every once in a while I haul my kids around in the Festiva. Was not real comfortable with them in the back seat with just lap belts.

I took the lap belts out of my 88' L and replaced them with shoulder belts from a 1990. It's very easy as the mounting holes are already there, you have to remove the black caps up top and drill a few holes in the rear side panels.

You also need the donor cars speaker covers as the seat belts go thru them.

Nice job!! I've kicked this idea around a few times, but usually it's just me in my Stiva. I like the way you did your speakers in the cargo cover, any better pics of that??

Nothing fancy, and it's not the original cover, just a piece of plywood ( covered with cheap carpet ) sitting on the rear strut towers and hatch frame.
