I parked the Hot Rod in front of a 2005 Ford Ranger at work the other night and I was pretty much staring at a close replica of the Festiva lights. I know they're wider, but they have a very similar setup, and so when I get the money, I'm strappin' these bad boys on the front. I'm not concerned with a grille, I'll be replacing the entire front assembly as well. I plan on using the front turn signal location as an LED daytime running lamp, or something... Either way, I think it'll go well with my Festiva S theme. BTW, I ordered a Fiesta Mk 5 S emblem the other day, I'll put up pics whenever I get it.

I like that, using a Fiesta emblem. Seems kinda subversive somehow. Or something.90 Festy (Larry)--B6M (Matt D. modified B6 head), header, 5-speed, Capri XR2 front brakes, many other little mods

i've thought of that swap years ago, but the assemblys are too tall, you'll have to at least remove the trim pieces from below the lenses.Trees aren't kind to me...

As far as the trim pieces on the bottom, I'd love to see those vamanos anyway. Headlights to fill up the whole section just mean less tiny pieces to cut or reassemble later. Plus I'm hoping for a one-piece look..In love with a MadScientist!:thumbright:

Well, I said I'd take the pics, and I did.

There are 2 little prongs that go into the hatch to hold it tight. Get a really thin flathead screwdriver and go under the middle of it and GENTLY pry up. You're talking 20 years of sitting in there, so they have a tendancy to break if you pry on them too hard. Go from the bottom, then switch and go from the top.Simon - pimptiva.com
