  • Euro bits

    Hello everyone,
after showing you guys my beast of a 121 in the Gallery section I was clogged up with PM'sand re quest's.
i have sourced a UK KIA pride and have already asked how much the guy wants for the clear indicators and rear light clusters. I don't know how to make this fair and decide who get's em. I might do an EBay style auction on here - Basically put in your bid by a certain time. I hope Admin won't mind me doing it. any more orders for euro parts and iu will see if I can source anymore.
Sorry if this has annoyed anybody ho w Pm'd me but I'm trying to be fair
    peace out
    Greg

I will try and find more stuff depending on demand

Greg--all you can do is the best you can do!

You appear to be our first (vocal) member in the UK. Lots of us are hankering for Pride and 121 parts.

Dash clocks, clear signals, badges, etc.

I'm rather partial to some day picking up some manually inside adjusting mirrors. However, I can wait.

You might think about "long term." As in setting up a system where you appropriate the goodies and sell them at a fair profit for your troubles. Plus shipping, of course. I wonder how those prices will pan out?

i don't have a problem with you running a feeler in this section but when it comes time to sell you need to set up a separate thread in the For sale section. It would be nice to have a good source for euro parts! Perhaps you could contact service departments and see if they have any new old stock parts, such as the taillights ect, just an idea.

How do mirrors work over with you?

I've just in teh process of aquiring some lense's front and rear, I will ask about the mirrors - I sure you can understand i dont want to buy these things when i find out nobody wants them - Watch this space. is it easy to remove the clock? I will contact the guy again and see how much he wants for it.

Get your orders in as he is only breaking one car.

If you ever come across a 121 with an instument cluster w/ tach and yellow lettering, I will pay top dollar for it.

These buggers are scarce and I want one!!!!!

I'd be interested in the clock, if its blue/green.

Go to the junkyard and poke about in the Mazdas.

I found blue/green clocks with backlighting and other whacky stuff there.

Oh, they will sell. Unless the the chap you get them from thinks they're made of gold. You shouldn't have to pay more than 20-30 GBP pair.
I think its great that you're willing to help us out. There is a definite market for the mentioned parts.

Greg, start small. Do a thread on what people would want from Europe. Maybe go to a junkyard first to see what is readily available. Buy one or two things and see if they sell.

Take it from there. BTW, I think I already have my mirrors, so don't worry about those unless someone else wants them.
