Escort console swap?

Sorry to get off the subject of the "escort console" but you can also use a 92-95 civic console with pop up cup holders with very little modding. I never finished this project, but there wasn't much left to do to make it look right....

Can you still use the rest of the Festiva console under the radio with that Civic console? Will it work with the automatic seat belts from the 90 L Plus? Also what seats are you using?

If you wanted to use the festy cubby console I'm sure you'd have to do some cutting/modding....I just never got around to it. The civic console doesn't interfere with the seatbelts at all as it's a separate piece and you still use the festy ebrake surround. The seats are from a mazda mx-3 (still need to dye that driver's seat!)
