Also a pic of the front from the side to see how your's sits mine has a gap where the shifter sits. I have not trimmed any thing i just want to make sure i trim the right parts of it.
Thanks
nice work with a little trim work to blend the dash that will look factory
If you re-read my post, at the bottom, it mentions the Protege sliding cupholders to put in there. Its same color as Festy dash.

A new part for the seat belt thing since the 90-93 you have to remove the lap belt end I used the old rears from my parts car so I don't have to cut a grove in the console to get them to fit.
yeah will be good. Now only if i could get a answer to my other questions lol
I am not in a big hurry just want to see and know what part i have to trim up to get it to sit right.
I had to cut the bottom of the back pc. If you sit it on there, you will see it rocks, AND the point where it rocks. It was an experiment to get it right.
The point where it rocks will be the center of the cut. So...cut is approx 6 inches to either side of rocking point and as post says, about 3/8 inch removed, on a radius, so it will taper out smooth. I'll try to get pics, but i'm working on my truck now trying to get it running, so don't know when i'll get pics. (weather keeps me from getting to my truck!) Glad you got a console!

I got mine in looks awesome i didn't trim mine like drddan did. I made a bracket for the rear to hold it up and am installing a rear cup holder so i kept the gap.
I think it will come down when you make the cut to the bottom. The front sit good by itself, but back did not sit right/flush with front pc until I cut it and stopped the rocking.

Thanks a million for the write up!!! It will come in real handy once it gets warm
Ok....I actually didn't cut mine i made brackets that go to the floor and go to the back of the console so i can slid my other cup holders i got under it so my passengers in the rear can have a spot to sit their drink.

I'd like to see that!
