In my experience, the lower line models need the wiring swapped also. The piece that is missing goes from behind the L taillight, up the C-pillar and down into the hatch, there is also a ground and + wire from the harness to the glass. I had to do this to my 92L, and will be doing it to the 93L. Using a piece of mechanics wire helps to fish it through.

Ok got the defrost one out wasn't as hard as sounded. I tried to work from inside out, but didn't work. So I used a screw driver and pryed it up and stuck thick washers under it and went across the top doing the same and was able to just pull on it and just came out with no problems. Will try to post pics as soon as I can get our computer back. Using a iPod touch right now so can't post pics.

ah you had to choose imageshack - company blocks that one for some reason.
So I take it it went well then? any issues?

Your doing the same thing I had planed on doing - tinting while its out - you'll want to watch the corners when you go back in - you can take a razor and trim on the curve to help stop the corners from rolling up when you put it back in the seal
