  • Are mazda 121 and festiva hatch spoilers identical?

I searched and couldnt find anything, i even googled for pictures and barely found pictures of the 121.

Curious if the spoilers are the same and what year 121 they can be taken from

They are not the same. Refer to the fifth pic in the provided post for a mazda 121 mid spoiler. Something the USDM masket never had. I'm not too sure of which top spoiler they has if any but it would much probably be the shout style.

The other thing about shipping a rare part to get reproduced is if anything happens during shipping good luck finding another one, that's why I won't send my pride spoiler to get reproduced

                1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
                1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

the only spoilers I've seen on the 121's are the mid hatch spoiler and the funtop spoiler

I agree with Damkid on the custom part reproduction - theres alot of us that have rare parts that won't send them out - call us horders but we just like our parts. If you knew the trouble that goes into some of the parts (finding someone thats willing to ship to the states, the constant hours searching for the part, then the actual shipping, then the customs) so you can understand the protectiveness

25horseplay did send those side skirts off to be redone. The guy made a few copies and sent him his originals back all scratched up. He said he was never going to send them out again. I look daily overseas for parts. I've found them a few times but no realistic amount of cash can force them to deal with the time, effort & hassle of shipping of over sized objects across the alantic.

I personally want my car to stand out. Maybe in the future someone will loan out a unique piece like that spoiler which there are 3 known on north america(25horseplay, damkid, myself) for reproduction, but thats for us to decide.

Trust me international shipping is a royal pain - we ship international through work and the hoops you need to jump through are rediculous - but its actually easier to get something out of the states than into the states

love those spoilers ...i know theres a snowballs chance in hottspot that anyone will send one out to be copied but would somone possibly take some measurements on them so that we might get somone to make some i have a friend who builds lambo kitcars for a living and they do tons of glass work i might be able to convince him that there is a market enough to make some if he had the dimensions and some photos from several angles top both sides back and looking up from the bottom ...getting you guys to take some simple measures is alot safer than asking to ship it ...what do ya say
