  • Door guards??

Ok, I don't know the proper name for them, but the 'door guard' for protecting from door dings were removed before I got my Festiva.

Any ideas where to get replacement ones since I lack paint where they go?

    Thanks!

    Scott

Best chance is to get them on here. I know I have a set somewhere, just not sure it's a complete set

Ok, well I suppose I'll post a 'wanted' ad on the forum. Thanks

I personally like the Festivas without them. I would say just fill them and paint them, but I guess I have a good and free painter to use

Yeah, I don't mind them being gone, but the paint looks like it was scraped with a metal paint scraper. (Literally) So, the original paint is in pretty good shape and I don't want to pay to have it painted when I can just stick door molding on myself. (cheap)

Hard to tell from the pics but if the paint isn't actually scraped up, and that's just the glue that was left behind, then you can just get an eraser wheel and remove the glue residue.....it won't mess up your paint either

Nope, it's the paint scraped off......

I used 'Goof Off,' then polishing compound, wax, etc, but there's no paint on the doors. I'm pretty sure it was a metal scraper used, instead of a plastic one to keep from hurting the paint.
