Anyone done it? I searched and didn't find anything solid.

The Capri tracks come nowhere near the Festiva mounting holes. Can you swap the Festy tracks on and still have the height adjustability of the Capri drivers seat?

Also will the 323 GTX swap article apply to these seats, as far as swapping tracks goes?

I seem to remember in the back of my mind that someone did the capri swap and followed the GTX guide - I forget the issue they ran into with the seats though - for some reason I want to say it was a cable bind issue - could be wrong like I said its fuzzy and from way back in the cob webs.

ive done it , its simple.

u have to use the festiva tracks and the festiva seat back brackets , im retarded and i did it in a couple of hours , i pretty much followed the how to on here but some things are different but its easy.the only problem i have , is using the festiva seat back brackets on the capri seat back it makes both the seats lean in a little bit.

I've done it too, I helped fattie with his too.
The biggest issue is getting the round knob of the capri seats (needle nose pliers and you have to pry at the metal tabs that are holding it on. Also and you have to trim the fabric material around a couple metal posts on the bottom of one of the seats to be able to get the material off.

So...was it worth it?

Or would I be better off just getting ahold of a pair of GL seats?

I would say yes. The comfort level is at least doubled and I think they look better than the original seats.

Mine aren't quite that nice but still loads better than my festy seats. Its just too bad you can't keep the height adjustment.

when you say height adjustment, are you referring to the seat tilt as in backwards and forwards?
