Hey now, don't diss the donks. They are a good source of amusement. Today in north salisbury i saw the newest one- a 80-something caprice 4door with 28's. its got a maaco blue paint job with silver flames. It is awesome, BUT not as awesome as it could have been with a rusty hood.

                          Hmmm, rusty hood look?

                          Check this out:

Don't see no rust...so let's look under the leading edge, where they ALL rust out:

I see dirt and grease and grime, but no rust.

I just got this a few days ago...for ten bucks.

Should I go for the rusty look? Hee haw!!

                          No.

I just saw my first rusted hood in person the other day....it doesn't look anywhere near what may be considered cool like it does in those pics. It doesn't look unique, it doesn't look ratroddy, this car looked like a decent import with a junkyard hood on it. It looked like he had been in a wreck and that was the best hood he could find to put on it. The rest of the car had good paint and nice wheels so it wasn't that the whole car was a beater...it just didn't look good. Just my opinion. I'd never do it.

By the way, ^^^ That's 99.9% city driving
