For the oven temperature, I think 350 degrees for 5 minutes works well if I'm not mistaken; I've seen this on youtube in a video about converting to HID headlights. What I'd like to try though is to take off the glass and make a negative mold out of it, then heat up some plexiglass and mold it to the original glass lens shape and glue it back to the stock housing...It would work great for an HID conversion!
The left lane? Are you crazy!!! I never drive in the left lane...It's full of freaks driving the wrong way and charging right at you!!!

HMM I see possibilities - could we get a comparison on the wall of the two light fields?

Also how hard was it to get the lenses off once you heated them?? I was thinking of making a angel eye and mounting it in the lens

its not that hard to get them off once they are hot... just be careful when prying them up... little pieces of hot glass can come flying off....

Could probably use an out door gas grill, you would not have to worry about fumes in the house then.
