I think I've gone past the point of no return. My wifes words were "Old man, have you lost your mind. If i used her exact words, I would have to post this in the arena. Now I have to start using my imagination to do the rest of it.

Tom is right, I didn't even tell her I was going to do this to the ghost.I just did it first and then showed her. But I figured that since I had already cut the back half off three years ago, doing this wasn't any worse. I still have the other 93L that I am going to keep in original shape so it's not so bad. She is an awesome wife thou, she knows whatever I do, it will be done safely. After 34 years, she knows me, lol.

No, I've had the grey ghost for almost 4 years. It was at first made into a little truck. Now Im going to try and make it into something like the jeep or bronco do where the back is totally one piece and can be removed like a hardtop convertible. So I do have a lot of work to do, but i love Customizing as my wife and kids say. My last actual customizing job was an ElComino where i took back wall and window out and put a top on it to where you can get from front to back without going outside. Had a bed and Tv in it for taking long or short trips.

what ever you do I belive the time has come for the instalation of a roll over bar - Drive it like that you will love being able to look out the whole roof - I know the funtop hole is only about 3" smaller all the way around.
I really like that one project that someone posted a pic on here of... it's a Festi truck too.. but they brought the "C" pilar up to meet the "B" pilar... making it look like a rollbar on a Jeep.
I know I'm slow. Been having too much fun driving ghost with no top or back, but this is what I've accomplished so far. Got roof done. Im also gonna have a piece going from roof down and then all way back,

yea, well you can't be to careful. I park the car in my driveway and you never know. I'm sure someone would love to take the ghost for a fun ride around the block. One thing thou, if i report it stolen, it is easy to spot out on the open road. I do have a cutoff switch also on it that has to be tripped for the motor to run and it is well hidden. I have the support pieces, I just have to trim them to size. They will lock into place where old support pieces were. The flat part in back will be a flat piece of board or like covered with the tonneau leather and will lift up and down and will be capable of locking in place.
