MX6 console in the Festiva

I was thinking I got this out of a 626 but I see Tom but a similar one in his Aspire that was out of a MX6... I made sure I looked before I left dang heat zapped it. Unlike the Aspire the console itself is really too wide. I trimmed the front piece off and stuck it over the original Festiva little console. Someday I'm going to trim it even and should look better. Just put a couple screws in a few places below seat level. Good A/C, arm rest and decent radio think I have it made! Now to tint the fish bowl

After you trim it again, you can get some plastic edging stuff to smooth it out. Interesting idea to just put it over the stock console. I have an Escort console in Kittystiva which is too long to put this one in; one or the other would have to be trimmed.

Good idea on the plastic trim. I probably won't mess with again till fall.
