I'm wanting to tint the brow on my car. But according to what I just read if your windshield doesn't have a "AS1" is it illegal to put any tint on the windshield. My windshield doesn't have a "AS1" but I think it's a aftermarket windshield. Does the stock windshields have a AS1 line?

I guess mine might be aftermarket too, since there is no AS1 line. The thing is my friend's Swift has an aftermarket one but it has an AS1 line.Current cars:

According to what i've been told this varies by state from a regulated length such as 4" or a percentage of the windshields height
