            even with the stock lock you can just pull it open and it shuts tight again. Every festy i've dealt with this is how I put in gas.

              sasquatch mentioned flipping the lock in his video, why not flip the lock on the door and just use a strong magnet on the stock latch? the door could still be pushed open like in the video, just less work, haha.

                its kind of hard to open with this weak magnet... if you got a super powerful one you would bend the door before you open it lol... the only reason i flipped it was because it would hit the magnet with that little thing that grabs the stock clip...

                        ^X3... Shaved would look pretty sweet, but it may fend off gas thieves if they think it still locks.
                        The normal is not always normal... MOST is not ALL... And any job can be hard if you don't have the right tools!!!

                          Flyin 4strokes car has a shaved lock and an earth magnet. It looks good and isn't too hard to open.

                            My festiva has a shaved gas door as well and i have a spring to pull the door closed
