jack handle

I found a jack handle in a small Chevy car at the junk yard a couple of days ago. They certainly had the right idea to crimp some loose plastic sleeves on it, so that it will turn without much friction. Pity it doesn't fit in the Festiva handle clips. Does anyone else have a better idea where it could be stored without clanking around??

use velcro strips... wrap two peices of around "non-grip" areas on the handle and then fasten the mating peices to the top side of the spare tire cover. That way it will still be under the carpet and out of site, yet accessible and usable.

Go to the dollar store and buy a few pieces of felt. Wrap the thing in that or sew up a bag if you're feeling crafty. Velcro closure earns bonus points.

Got the idea from my gf's 323 which has a bag made out of the car's carpet and a piece of velcro to hold it shut.

I though they originally came in their own little cloth bag? I've got a Big 1/2 drive ching chong meow breaker bar from harbor freight ($10), with a 14mm hardened socket head for my rig.

I only want to be able to lift the car quickly and smoothly. I am not removing any tires.
I think I will make a bag. The back isn't flat because the Aspire space saving spare is already higher than the top of the spare tire well. I can't stick the jack handle in there.
