  • MX3 sun visors

Funny it's a bit to wide and the Festiva's is a bit to small. Always have to fight the sun with the original I'm hoping these will be better. It does hit the mirror.. if somehow the original hole could be moved over would be perfect. Not sure if any others would of fit better. PNP had hardly any proteges and all the escorts were junk.

I am not sure if anyone has considered this before, but you could remove the mirror, and get one of the universal "glue button to window" type. It may leave you a couple holes, but if you are creative enough, maybe you could cover them up with another dome light or something... Just a thought, if you have a radar detector, you could use the pre-existing holes to mount it, and tuck your wire in behind the headliner... I never thought of that before, but it would be kinda sneaky, and cool at the same time.

The normal is not always normal... MOST is not ALL... And any job can be hard if you don't have the right tools!!!

You read my mind. Next time I'm at PNP I'll be looking for a round or dash mounted mirror. Never know what I'll find. A couple lights could be mounted where the old mirror hung.

Take abother mirror cut the shank out of it and extend your current one. Weld the section in; grind, smooth, bondo, and paint...

I have 99 civic sunvisors in mine with dual mirrors!

Dual mirrors that would interesting to see! There more I think about and read a little I think I'll just tuck the visors under the mirror and leave them. Part of the reason I want to leave the mirror is that I want to get another mirror like this:

and remove the side mirrors. I rarely use them anyways. I bought one for cheap when I got the Ranger and I can't tell you how nice that add-on mirror is! But back to the visors they still don't block enough sunlight on the sides. I'm thinking about adding another visor on the side that'll be tricky with the automatic belts.
