Haha.....I am thinking of making a complete aluminum underbelly for the car, as that will indeed lessen the drag.

Dont worry Aaron, they are just jealous that we have free healthcare....."medical bills" dont exist here...... No need for insurance, and usually no wait times.........Love being a Canadian......

Hope this doesnt switch the conv....lol

I have the grille blocked on mine. I averaged 50.2 mpg for over 40,000 miles. Best tank of 56.7 mpg using hypermiling techniques. Check out gasssavers.org and ecomodder for additional ideas...Curious to see if covering the wheels helps, fender skirts helps Metros. Moon disc wheel covers help too. Some people even remove the outside mirrors (check your laws on this).

X2 I would try covering the wheels also. You could probably use the tape or find some 12" wheels covers. I know some trucking companies are now putting Moon discs on there wheels to help MPG.

Here are some 12" Moon Discs. http://www.mooneyesusa.com/moon-disc...rom-p-474.html

I am in the process of installing a couple mirrors inside the car, then I will remove the exterior one.......Not legal but it will be safe.....(safer than it is now, with only one mirror)

At some point in time you just have to say looks are more important than mileage..........

HAHA yes......AND, if my engine goes......$250 rather than $5000! Headlight $10 rather than $500!

                          Etc........FESTIVA FTW!

It drives SO smooth with the wheel wells taped! I need to get perm ones made of sheet aluminum.

^Exactly what I thought today when I saw Prius with a bad tailight.

Everytime I see a Prius I just shake my head and think about festy vs hybrid car stickers.

No but, you could get one custom made. I've thought about Festiva 1 Hybrids 0 or (Win) Festiva Vs (Fail) Toyota Prius, Honda Insight and Smartfortwo. Also something commenting on their batterys and how festys are super old and smash on them still. Another idea for a turbo festiva is arrows on each side of the rear windshield saying why they are in the right or left lane. MPH<- ->MPG
