Pulled the stock steering wheel on the aspire last night and put on the mx3's. The steering wheel is cockeyed for some reason. It may be bent but it didn't look like it on the festiva. I need to look at it again to see what I can figure out. The airbag lights winking at me but eventually i'll get to radioshack to try out some resistors, the miata guys have a writeup on it. The horn setup is different as well so I may setup a push button on the steering column or dash, the stocker hardly worked anyways. The orange connection is for the horn. You have to take out the clock spring for the airbag and horn to get the steering wheel to fit. It's a black piece that's held on by three screws but you also have to break the wire ties and unconnect the blue/orange connections part way down the steering column and it will slide off the white center piece. The white piece is off of the multi switch and shuts off the blinkers. Just make sure that white piece is lined up with your steering wheel. The new steering wheel is much lighter so it'll take a little getting used to. Just the airbag alone probably weights 5-7pds.
