  • mustang/turbo coupe seats?

    anyone put some mustang seats (same as turbocoupe seats) in their fes? did a bunch of searching, found a bunch of other seat swaps but nothing on the mustang seats. apparently they bolt right into rangers and (im told) many other ford products. im just curious if someone has already done it and knows what it will take, or how much id have to modify the rails.

    they look great, and are crazy comfy, and may be coming my way for free.

    Then

    z = (w - x) / y

    I've wanted the seats out of my TC in my festy for a long time. By far the most comfy I've ever driven in.

    I don't think they're the same as mustang seats though.

      from a fox body? thes are on a fox body gt roght now. the guy with the mustang and the guy with the turbocoupe both are coworkers of mine and they have pretty much the same seat- the ones in the TC are blue velour, the ones in the gt are tan plaid. that appears to be the only difference. they both said the same thing about them being comfortable, the guy with the gt just wants more of a racing seat, his car is pretty much gonna be a street rod- even has some skinnys up front and some great big fat wheels in the back. (has a mild-to medium built 302 in it and some kind of good gears he says- btw)

        What years the turbocoupe? Early TC I think might have been the same but after 85.5 or so they got their own seats that rock.

              My drivers side power seat probably weighs 70 lbs. The manual passenger ones a bit less. They are HEAVY.

              Good luck finding a manual drivers seat in a turbo coupe. My dad had one, it got scrapped with the car... DOH.
