  • Festiva Steering Wheel Swap

Here's my actual first upgrade ON the car. An MX-3 GS SE steering wheel. I got it for $25 from the junkyard with the entire column and the ignition.

    Enjoy!

(Don't mind the wiring, I pulled out the stereo and put it in a different car, the Festy is parked for the winter.)

Okay you got me beat on the steering wheel.. I need to find one of those. Although just the standard MX3 is a huge improvement over the festiva/aspire steering wheels. Going into corners faster and a greater sense of the road is what i've notice so far.

What kind of switches do you get with that, And did you wire them up?
            Looks like cruise control..

That's a really nice wheel. Do you have plans to hook up the CC switches?

I installed a good shape Mercury Tracer ('89) wheel and I really like it. Gotta figure out how to handle that Mercury symbol in the middle, though. Not that it bothers me too much.

Afterwards, I installed Pimpstiva's intermittant wiper module. Don't know how I did without intermittants for so long! Both my K cars had them.
