Side Skirts?

Has anyone made there own from other car side skirts?

If so please post pics and a few details as to how you did it.

I really want a set and I know I'll likely never get actual FMS skirts.

hmmm a guy on cardomain had some made out of plastic gutters or something like that. But that was a long time ago. I remember reading that it was made out gutters and expecting it to look horribly redneck but they actually came out very nice. He also modded a front bumper by cutting the top off a second bumper and flipping it upside down underneath the front one. Don't really remember what he did with the rear but he modded it too. Just tried looking for it though and I couldn't find it. There's a lot more festiva's to search through on there now than there was 6 years ago lol

You have to look kinda close since they're painted black, but I used a set from a ford contour. All you have to do is cut them down to size and mount them up with the original mounts that are on the contour (gotta drill a few holes in the festy)....

so thats a stock ford contour? what trim level?

Man, those contour skirts look SICK! Like they belonged on a festy from the start Whats the front lip from? And have you done anything for the rear?

Really didn't pay attention when I got them, but I believe it was a late 90's Contour sport

Front lip is from some random old Volvo, rear lip is from a 94-95 Honda Accord (cut to fit)...
