I have a better idea:
A JAPAN JUNKYARD TOUR!!
We'll all pitch in and rent a C5 Galaxy with a few of our Festivas & little flatbed trailers in it to fly to Japan and we'll cruise the Kabuki 'yards and buy up all the JDM goodies!! 8)
Japanese farmer to junkyard operator: "Look at all those crazy Gaijin buying your junk car parts!"
Karl'93GL "Prettystiva" ticking B3 and 5 speed, backup DD; full swaps in spring!
'91L "AquaMutt" my '91L; B6 swap/5 speed & Aspire brakes, DD/work car
'92L "Twinstiva" 5sp, salvage titled, waiting for repairs...
'93GL "Luxstiva," '94 B6 engine & ATX; needs overhauled
'89L "Muttstiva," now a storage bin, future trailer project

Wait... I have been in a C-5! I went in one at the air show that was at CFB Trenton a few years ago.
I've been in the cockpit of a Hercules. My uncle wouldn't let me fly it though because it wasn't his and I've never flown a plane before... ironically enough...* Retired Festiva-er*

Talk about hijacking a thread... we start with an small economical car that sips fuel and end up in a very large aeroplane that uses more than a lifetime of Festiva fuel during one take-off
Other boards are probably jealous of all the fun we have hereIan

youll have better luck finding 121 logos anywhere else but japan. they label all ford festiva and aspire "mazda festiva" and as far as junk yards go, they just smash cars there, not sell used parts. i lived there 3 years and it costed me $600 to junk my car cause it wasnt passing emission without a crap load of work, thats sad.... its also why you can buy early 90s skylines in good condition for less than 1000 bones-Taylor
'89 L with a/c. thanks Tim
