So your allowing the edges to go wide so you trim to fit. What about a style line that's supposed to line up with something on steel, like say a fender. I just don't know what the shrink rate is, or if its significant. I know when I cast brass or aluminum, you had to take into consideration shrinkage.

I haven't cast anything in probably 25 year, this was in college. I've got a neighbor that has a foundry and a forge, he offer to let me use it, but I've never had a project worthy of the trouble. Not sure what BYMC is.1963 Fairlane - future NSS drag car
