  • Custom shift knob feeler

I have been in touch with Bruce Roosa from www.koolknobs.com
He has quoted me $40 each for a group buy of shift knobs with only the Festiva logo engraved on it. Would anyone be interested?

I had thought about that at one time but i also wanted the shift pattern engraved. I know that is required in some states. I like the knobs they put together. Im not an artist and cant really draw this out but i wonder if he could do a knob with shift patterns and the Festiva logo somehow shadowed into the pattern? Just a thought. Thats a great idea Bravekozak.

      Really? That's bizarre!

That is a neat idea. I like the work I see there. Personally I'm rebadging all mine to Mazda, so the Festiva logo in particular won't be for me.

I know. Its not an issue in Alabama but some states that have inspection laws require the shift pattern to be in place. I remember someone on here saying they didnt pass inspection because of that. Weird I know.

So you're making it appear the car is a Mazda rather than a Festiva?

I currently have a Hurst Nascar 50th Anniversary shift knob.
If they need a shift pattern for a safety inspection, it only takes 1 minute to change. Since I am the primary driver, I already know what the shift pattern is. This thread is just a feeler. I know you can't please everyone. I'm just seeing what others want.

But it is a Mazda! :p

I'm going for the Mazda 121 deal. I really want the 121 grille and headlights.

May I suggest a poll? If some of us make suggestions for what we would be interested in, then start up a poll and see which one gets the most votes. Don't get me wrong, your Festiva idea is great, but if you did a poll you could figure out what would work out best for everyone.
