The digital cluster that I bought is too wide for the Festiva.
Does anyone know how wide the Fiat Uno turbo cluster is?

It looks good in action, since it's orange.

The only way I would put my digital GTX cluster in would be to make a prototype 3D CAD housing and pay the big bucks. I saw how it works at a tool show at the Coliseum down at Exhibition Place. They were in the booth directly across from my company.

I wonder what the Fiat Stilo Estate display looks like?
The display area might just be able to fit in the stock Festiva bezel.

I'm going to ask at Bob's Speedometer what is his opinion on fitting the digital cluster.

                Bob's Speedometer says forget it.
                I can't.
I am going to look for a smaller digital cluster that will fit.

I remember a long time ago a couple of guys used an early Mazda 626 cluster with some mods. They looked pretty cool. Maybe some others that have been on here a long time can remember.

zoe, that's the one in the bold blue link in #7. There are links in post #1 too, but you have to hover your mouse to make the line appear. The blue highlight disappeared after the site software upgrade.

That digital cluster was off of an 88-89 Mazda 323 GTX AWD. It was sold long ago.
I will be keeping my eyes open for another one. It might just fit.
The 626 cluster is nicer, but too wide. I need 11" + tabs. I will measure a 323 cluster the next time I am at a junkyard.

IIRC the 323 cluster is slightly wide, but looks moddable. I think you need to remove the original mounts and fab new ones.

Off-topic question: how do you rename your links, like the one above that says digital cluster?

Oh, I didn't look at the links close enough. That is the one. I always thought it would be cool but I never could find one. Maybe I will start looking again. 323 GTX's are pretty rare these days I guess.

323 fits if you hack off enough of the ears on the cluster. I don't think there's enough room to make new ones. Mine is an interference fit in the dash after enough material was removed to make it go in at all. Still gotta make the bezel fit. It's a PAIN. The shape(where it fits against the face of the cluster) is completely opposite the stock Festy cluster.
Any difference that makes no difference is no difference.

Sketch, thanks for your input. I am seriously considering cancelling this project and starting another one. I also saw the ears were in opposite spots.
