  • Best new seats?

I have a bunch of vehicles to use and I really need some better front seats in my Festiva...does anyone know if any seats bolt right in or with very minor custom work? I have seats from a 91 Laser, 94 Intregra gsr, 92 blazer, 94 f-150. Im sure I could get more. What are your opinions?

Easiest swap, and a nice upgrade, are the Aspire seats. You can also use a lot of Mazda seats from late 80s/early 90s, and early 90s Escort/Tracer seats. On all these swaps, you put the new seat's seat foam and cover on the Festiva metal seatpan, and bolt on the new seatback. About 20-40 minutes per seat. Typically I get seats for $20 at the JY.

You can easily tell which ones are compatible by looking at the seatback mechanism. It should look like the Festy one.

Here is a writeup I did, and there are others too: http://www.fordfestiva.com/forums/sh...pire+seat+swap

I swapped the protege seats and they are super comfortable and really easy to swap.

Scroll down a bit. I used 1993 prelude seats, very comfortable and very easy to install.

I love mine, they look and feel great. But the track swap was really tough compared to the escort/protege trackswap due to the fabric being shaped much differently, and the hinges being a slightly different width.
