  • i need help on re wiring my tach cluster

I bought a cluster metric from a kia pride) and to make a long story short some one told me i need to do some simple rewiring, do you guys with the MPH speedos have to do the same thing? or are the MPH tachs plug and play? i would really appreciate some help on this topic and i have no idea what to do and i want to use my tach. ( i am using the stock guage now) tach-Less

I have done exactly what you are asking about although I did not re-wire my car to get my old cluster to work, what I did was I took a US tach cluster and removed the circuit board and swapped it onto the Kia pride cluster, trust me it will work, then your cluster will plug directly into your factory harness

And just to let you know, swapping circuit boards is very simple to do

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

The mph clusters still only go to 85 mph though unless you get an overseas one

No problem on the Pride speedo, just install a US board and move the speedo cable to the right. Then it's plug and play.

^^yup that's correct, the US tach clusters are fairly common down there and shouldn't be hard to find
