  • new hood scoop!!!!

i just got it off ebay.... its off a wrx and it was only 30$ shipped! i think it will look pretty nice and help exhaust some of the b6t heat, i also have vents that will be functional for the top corners.

I like it. I'd put the intake close to take advantage of the forced air.

Nice... I've always thought that if I ever did build a turbo festy (which I doubt I ever will) that I would use a TMIC since there's a ton of room between the hood and the twin cam motors. Thats the scoop I would use if I did it though.
        No festiva for me ATM...

i think im gunna do a true cold air intake and put it in the wheel well or somewhere out of the engine compartment, i wanted the taller sti style one but i think this one will do just fine with the lower profile, i just want the engine to be able to get some fresh cool air lol

you need to work on getting the air OUT of the engine bay, not craming more in...

The member on here with the flat black festy that's into Hondas......can't remember his sign-on name. Think he has a picture of a turtle with a Honda logo in his sig.

There's a ton of air that comes in through the grill on a Festy. Any filter placed up front will get plenty of cool air. I think a reverse mounted scoop at the base of the windshield would help extract the air, or, a front lip spoiler to keep the air from going under the car may create a vacuum under it and draw the air out the bottom. Hood vents are also a good idea.
