I decided that I'm going the cheap route so I bought a mini tach for twenty bucks my question is which wire do I splice into to get it too work. Obviously I'll need a power and ground also but I was told one of the coil wires but not sure which one.

RED wire-any ignition power/fuse
GREEN wire-negative coil wire
BLACK wire-ground
