  • Vent Visor Install

I just picked up a set of metal Vent Visors with metal clips from a member. I can't figure out how to install. Does anyone have an idea how this works? Thier like the ones Gomez sold. Pic in WTB/FS post of 5/8/11.

If it don't fit, use a bigger hammer!

I'd be willing to bet Fresh has or has had a set and might be able to help a lot.

I helped Rj (skimsucka) put some on his car but I think the clips are different on most models so depending on which ones they are he should be able to help.

I got these from RJ. They (the clips) have 2 long arms & 1 short arm. don't seem to fit to well.

here you go! i went ahead & did drivers side visor b4 going to work. it would be a lot easier with two people though or some glue to hold clips in place in the window channel. i did it without either but its a pita. & im not 100% sure i did it right but its holding well so far & the window rolls up & down without hitting the inside clips(barely) first put the clip in the channel, i put the 2 center ones on first then put the two that go on each ends last, both near the very end but you have to hold the others in(the first two) with your arm or they will fall out. check out pics and if you have any more questions pm me. danny first pic window rolled down & clip as i installed it,(from outside of car) 2nd pic outside after install and like i aid this may not be the correct way to install them but with no directions this is the only way icould make them stay in place.

I am so sorry here guys. I am now assuming that I am one of the few ff.com members that has ever had these on a car and I had 2 cars with them. I realli cannot be of more assistance because I never put them on myself. I bought the car that way. I really wish I could help more. I do know that when installed you cannot see the clips from the outside. That's all I got

Thanks a lot Kumal & Gomez!! Thats more than I had before . The pics really help, I kinda thought thats how they worked. I'll try tommarow after my son gets home from work. :headbang: I was thinkin' about useing 3M double sided tape up between visor and channel.
