  • intercooler install help?

I looking for helpful picture of hidden intercoolers. I really don't want to hack the bottom out of the center of my bumper and let it hang out in the open. If any of to you with tucked ones could give me advice please.

I'm using a dsm t25, on a custom fab manifold for my sohc b6. I plan on using a small universal 27x6x2.5 eBay intercooler. But I don't want it just hanging out, and I'm drawing a blank on hot to fit it behind the plastic bumper.

its hard to conceal something like that, and it still being efficient

i say put it on and paint it flat black.

If you haven't already purchased the intercooler, look at how the stock gen1 dsm intercooler is mounted. It's behind the fender liner and you don't see it at all!.

^ Thank you! Even though I didn't ask for the help, i'm definitely going with the srt-4 intercooler. I thought it was too complicated.

It is pretty complicated. Dad had to do a lot of cutting and welding on that intercooler to fit. That intercoolers for sale though.

Did either of you have to cut the bumper structure to get the intercooler to tuck in there?
