  • tach cluster swap - lame questions

I have really tried searching but have to ask:

tach cluster - is it a direct drop for my 93' L which currently has speedometer only? just socket connection or any rewiring/extra sensors?

another question - how much would a JY usually ask for it? I've just checked www.picknpull.com part pricing and "Dash Assembly Complete (No Rad" is $72.99, that seems like a lot! is it a typical price for what I need or is it the wrong part name I am looking at?

Tach gauge will work, no problems (but may have to re-route the speedo cable).

You don't need a full dash! Speedo/tach is $16.99 at PnP.

        "257 Speedometer Or Tachometer Car $15.99 $0.00 $15.99"

I wonder what they consider dash, and what not...

speedo cable - why is it maybe? what does it depend on? my festiva is manual, donor will be auto if that matters

Change that "maybe" for a "for sure" The stock non-tach cluster has the speedo in the middle, and on the tach cluster it's to the right. You will have to move the speedo cable right behind the cluster so that it doesn't kink when you push the cluster in. There was a thread with pictures. Try searching.
