        What does that thing do in the last picture? I see the use for all the other parts but what does that one do?

          They, two of them, are mounted to the hatch to support the cargo cover when the hatch is down. Often, you find that they are broke.

            they actually support and hold it down...when they are intact that is. The top over laps the cover to keep it from flipping up.

              Makes sense, I had a crappy cargo cover laying around, thru it in my car, and once I had the hatch shut I realized those were there, and was like, oh! haha. Thanks guys
