Svt Focus?

OK quick question. I was cruising with my focus fanatic buddy today and then asked for a ride in his svt, i then sat inside and felt the wheel. Instantly fell in love. so my question is, has anyone ever put one in the festiva? I am going to try for sure, but id figure id see before messing with it. Thanks. looks like this

The Focus has air bags. The price for the steering wheel alone might make things hard. If you found one on the cheap, it wouldn't have an airbag in it I'm sure, but then you'd need to know if the spline count and diameter on the steering shaft was the same as the Festiva's. Also note that the Festiva steering wheel is much lighter than the Focus wheel and if you have the LX tilt steering, you may wear it down quickly. I'd recommend THIS if you like a leather grip. Same size as the stock wheel.

ok will do, mocking up a stock focus one tonight to see if it works, if it does, bring on comfy leather wrapped steering wheel!

Im gonna go out on the limb here and say the focus steering shaft is to big which means that steering wheel will be sloppy on a festiva. Worth a try though.
