  • Fuel sender ohm range

Does anyone know the resistance range for the fuel level sending unit? I'm thinking of creating a custom dash using some aftermarket gauges in the stock instrument cluster housing, and would of course need a fuel gauge, so I need to know the ohm range of our senders, to try to match that up with a commercial gauge with the same range.

EDIT: Never mind, I found it in the Haynes manual. Full tank, 6 ohms; empty tank, 95 ohms.

That info is in the Electrical and Vacuum trouble shooting guide.
Which I do not have access to at the moment.
FestYboy might also know this off the top of his head.
