  • Paint'in Time

Finally got all the mechanical issues fixed on my new festy, sanded...and sanded...and sanded....got all my supplies and tomorrow I start painting! will be updating here. Got it tapped off at least for the evening. Just would like to point out before everyone goes "YOU MISSED A SPOT!?!?" that I am rolling on the paint/ using a small paint brush for the detailed areas, not spraying :p

                    Looks like a good job!

Any problem with blowing particles outside? Be sure and give us a few words of wisdom about your experience painting.

I'll be doing this some day.

So the sun has been out none stop all day and it is the hottest it has been in weeks so The paint was totally dry after about 3 hours! So i did round 2, looks ALOT better in person, pictures kinda look the same, however you can see it is a lot less pink now that the white is better covered up then before, pretty excited, hopefully tomorrow I can wet sand and then add 2 more coats.

Ugh not that its alot bigger, i never noticed my festivas cuuuuurvs...gawd thos suck lol, and to the earlier question from safetyguy, its odd, because it has been drying so fast like to the point where bugs or something will land on it but its dry enough that i can take my glove and flick them off of it and no marks are made so. outside has been good, we will see about the night :p
