from what I understand, the ATH kit has to be modded to fit the Festiva..
From what Roger says, the FMS kits were altered from the original ATH design so they would bolt up directly to the Festiva.

Please let us know exactly what mods if any have to be done.

    Thanx,

Got the response from NewState. There's suppose to be 2 holes as Simon said.

As for the fitting and the measure I don't know yet and won't know soon because I'll begin my swap before the body. The kit is still in his packaging and won't be opened before at least a month or so. I still need to order a lot of pieces from FMS and I don't think the shipping will be really fast for me. (California is really far from Québec)
Is that a Festiva that just passed me?!?!?!

        FMS is in Maryland.

And you don't need to open the packaging ont the rear bumper.

Simply sit it up and measure from the top of the bumper (where it's flat) down to the top of the hole. Do the same from the side to the side of the hole. Then measure how big the holes are.

in parts of Europe, they also have rear "fog" lights that can go in those holes. Found that out while driving the Autobahn at night. At 210kph, in fog at night, slower vehicles in front of you appear rather abruptly. Those rear fogs make a hell of a difference. Some countries require two, thats why there are two spaces.

Those don't seem to be lights which light up, nor do they seem to be a good color for a fog light.

I've seen what you're talking about, however I'm not sure that they would be placed there with this kit. I've seen them lower, down by the exhaust area.

rear fogs are red, look like a brake light lit up. confused the hell outta me at first. couldn't figure out why some cars seemed to have brake lights that never went out

depends on the car where they are. that is where they are on the Kias in Germany. Explores are also in the bumper. Contour/ Mondeo were part of the tail lamp ass'y. Some VWs had them under the bumper next to the exhaust..... etc......

                Good info!

I just was thinking that I wanted to install a set of reflectors there for some looks.

Ok, then I'll get the measure tonight when I'll be back home.

For what I'll do with those reflector I just don't know yet, maybe just add 2 white back up lights. I think it would be sharp.

                    Thanks!

One thing you'll need to do is modify the exhaust for a bigger opening. Just be careful not to crack anything...

I'll have to "drill" a bigger opening and add another one  Because it's going to be a Y exhaust type, 2.5" all the way. 8)
