Winner, winner, chicken dinner! Yep, VW Corrado. Used to have one back in the day and have always wondered if the bumpers would fit the festy. Unfortunately the front required way too much workOriginally posted by Safety Guy View Post"Lane, I've been going to this high school for seven and a half years. I'm no dummy."

Haven't finished yet and I'm using the Corrado bumper support this time. So far it seems like an easier swap than the stylus.....just gotta figure out how I'm gonna properly mount it.Originally posted by ENEMY_ View PostHow much work to make that bumper fit? more work than the rear stylus?
Yeah, these bumpers aren't gonna be easy to track down! Never seen a corrado at the jy myself til I lucked upon this oneOriginally posted by chrisofna View PostI have never seen a Corrado at a junkyard so you guys who want to do this might want to craigslist snipe."Lane, I've been going to this high school for seven and a half years. Haha, wish I could. I'm sure there are some more common ones that will work, but they won't look as good!Originally posted by Charlie1717 View PostYeah why couldn't you find a more common car! Dang!

Figured out a good way to mount the bumper today using the stock bumper beam mounts. The bumper beam that was on the car was a rusted out piece of garbage but I was able to salvage the mount portion, bolt that to the Corrado bumper beam, then bolt everything right up to the festy! Still needs a little tweaking but it's looking good"Lane, I've been going to this high school for seven and a half years. I'm no dummy."
