I resently purchased a dome light with the map lights. (From Ebay) Wrong move I should have tried to get one from here. Anyway when I got it I don't think it was off of a Festiva although the seller said it came off of a 93. My car is a 90, and has a plain dome light. This light I bought is about 4" wide and 6" long.I expected it to be longer but not wider than my light. It looks to big for a Festiva dome light. Can anyone tell me if this came from a Festiva or might this light come from a different kind of car?(if so what kindof car)The electricial plug is different also. my light has a large plug and the one I bought has a small one. Theres no way I can just plug this in.I'm trying to return it to the seller but he's giving me a hard time and swears its off a Festiva and minor modifications are needed because it is an upgrade. I know I may need to drill an extra hole but shouldn't the electricial plug be the same. I need to know if this seller is blowing smoke up my butt or is this really a dome light out of a Festiva.I need to know this info so I can argue my point so I can get my money back. If anyone can help me with this it would be great. Thanks, Rich

Thanks for the info. I'm sure I can now do this but, I have a question though. The spade connections mentioned in the article, are they for connecting the wires from the new dome light to the wires that are in the roof of the car? Also I assume I can get them and the crimping tool at any parts store?
