  • Custom billet grille insert.

Hey guys now that my festiva is comming together great I was pondering this idea as a grille mod. I think it would look sick and im sure it hasnt been done yet. Here is the billet grille insert id be using for this:

A early style grille and a grinder im sure this would come together great. Im down for and comments or ideas.

I personally prefer an unmolested old style grill. That said, if you're going to cut up a grill for the open grill mod, I think the billet would look cooler than some gutter guard from Home Depot
    No festiva for me ATM...

Ya I figure that even with billet I still could add the Festiva emblem or just go sleeper and leave it blank. I just wanted to do this because I think it would look cool and I haven't seen anyone do it yet, as far as I know it hasn't been done.

Big Ford emblem off a new pickup... the 5 inch wide ones. Thats what goes on a billet grill!
        No festiva for me ATM...

If I didnt hate ford as much as I do I would probably think about it. Im thinking more like MAZDA or something.

^^now your talking, I like the idea of the billet, I say go for it, and hell if it turns out great I may try the same thing (with the Mazdaspeed emblem of course lol)

              1988 323 GT - B6T Powered

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

                Go for it

I've been thinking of doing the same thing using an 05+ Mustang billet grill

I think it would look good man. Why no love for Ford? I mean I used to have my reservations towards them coming from a bow tie family & experiences with Tempos/Taurus but after not taking a bail out from uncle sam/older age they have grown on me.

I like the old ford cars and trucks but not a fan of the newer line up. I need to get a early style festiva grille and the isuzu pup billet grille to start this project. Guess i'll pick those up on ebay.
