  • Recaro seats...What would you pay?

Thinking about picking these up fairly locally, but I'm not sure about the asking price. He has them listed for $250 but said he would meet me halfway from my house to his and sell them for $150. What would you guys pay for some recaros?

Ya know its weird...buy i've never been a fan of Recaro's.
Had a few designs that were ok, but for the most part ...no big deal. Those are pretty rough looking. I think if I was looking for them, i'd talk him way down in price!
There are some Protege seats at the local JK that are 2 tone light/dark grey with adjustable headrests, look awesome, no rips and about $40!

^Yeah, I've never sat in any myself but they look like they'd be really comfortable. Just found a similar set (same damage) fs online and the guy wants $400 but that includes the rear seats too. The crx seats I have in the festiva now also have the same damage, but the colors on these would go better with the festiva

I'd have to sit in them. Sit in them and see what you think.

Good point. I'd hate to have the guy meet me half way and not buy them though....I know I'd be ticked if someone did that to me. I did that with another guy I was gonna buy some seats from but he said they were a specific seat and then when we met they were completely different. Craigslist retards!

I'd give him 5 whole dollars.

I have factory MX-3 Recaros in my Protege and they are nice seats. They are fixed headrest though that is the only thing I would change... they have similar wear too.

I would say scour the junkyards for an MX-3 and get the recaros from them.

In the condition there in, I wouldn't pay any more than $100. You can get them fixed, but that subtract drastically from value.
Im not driving a Festiva because I'm poor. I drive a Festiva because i want to!

Are you talking about the regular mx-3 seats like these?...

If so I had those in the festy before and just wasn't really liking them.

That's about what I had in mind. He said he really needs cash so I'll throw the offer up and see

I have those but the newer ones are adjustable head rests.

^Yeah those are nice looking. The set I'm looking at looks like it has a little more support than yours though. How/what did you use to mount yours? I offered the guy $100 and he said he'd take it!

You got a sick deal. They go for a lot more, even in that condition.

I agree there, because they're ripped and stained; I wouldn't be paying 150 for them
