I was thinking the same thing. I've wanted a set of recaros for a while and the grey/black combo on these will go nice in the festy

I figure I'll just patch up the hole and see if I can cut some pieces of foam to replace the worn out parts. I'm happy for $100 for sure! Also, they are REALLY comfortable. 92-96 Honda prelude seats have always been my favorite seats from a comfortability standpoint, but I think these have them beat

Anybody here experienced with vinyl seat repair? Is there anything I can do to patch that hole up myself? I've looked into the vinyl repair kits they sell but apparently those are best suited for small tears/holes, not a large hole like I have. I was wondering if I could just sew a patch in?....I've got a matching piece of vinly to use as a patch

Take it to an auto upholstery shop and have them replace that piece. They can also replace that collapsed piece of foam. Those seats will fetch $500 easily if they are clean. Worth spending the money to fix them up.

Solved my problem with the torn seat....
            What I currently have....

What I just bought to fix the problem....

^Scored the single seat for less than it would have cost me to repair the other seat. Now I have a spare seat for parts or to sell to recoup some of the money. Stoked!

That's awesome!!! Is it easy to change sides? Looks like you have two passenger side seats. You could easily sell them to someone with an e30 or an early gti for good money! I'm jealous

Yeah, the driver and passenger seats on these are pretty much identicle other than the recline adjustment knob. Won't make a big difference to me which side that's on though. I'm modifying honda crx rails to put them in the festy.....got the driver's side installed yesterday. Not easy and not perfect, but it's in good enough for me. Hope to get the passenger side in tomorrow. Just gotta wait for shipment of my other good seat now!

I recently got these seats but haven't had time to install them. Came with Del Sol rails.
