  • Suicide Doors ?

Has anyone done suicide doors on their festy ?
Seems like a pretty easy job considering the universal kits you can buy these days..

I have never seen suicide or lambo doors on a Festiva before... maybe some of the older members will know though. Only been here since '07.

As much as I agree, I stand by the philosophy of to each their own. His car, his money. I see no reason not to do it if that's what he wants to do. Besides, 99% of the time, the doors will be closed. Either he'll be driving or parked.

Now that's an interesting idea! Again, not my style... but I'd love to see it happen.

Sliding doors sounds amazing.. i was just wondering if anyone had done the suicide doors.. i wouldnt personally but i think on a 3door it would be kind of interesting.. No one will know there suicide unless your parked up at a car show and have them open..

Would be hard lining the doors up and getting them to close at near perfect ?

Actually, the sliding doors idea sounds kinda neat!

Better for when someone parks too close to you and you'd have trouble getting in with regular doors.

Sliding doors? Reminds me of how my dad used to close his... Get going, chirp the brakes, and all children and loose items fly from the vehicle before the doors closed. However, it was cool.

peugeot actually sold a small 3 door hatch that had sliding van doors. Dont think it was very popular, hard for rear pass to get in and it was very heavy.

Yep that be the one. I like lambo doors on sports/exotic cars but I dont think they look good on 4drs or suv's. But im also one of those weird people that dont like big rims and neons....
