  • Mazda 626 Wiper/Signal/Light switch

Anyone know if this will work on my 1992 Festiva?

Nothing wrong with mine, but while I have the steering column out, I thought I would look for an intermittent wiper switch replacement.
I have variable speed but not intermittent wipers.

I'm 90% sure it will. Someone else will fire off an executive answer in a second.

I always forget to grab that assembly at the junkyard until it starts sprinkling, hahaha.

CC is not plug and play. Maybe you could wire the switches up to an aftermarket system though.

Edit: I just looked at that ebay link again and the picture looks like it has cruise control.

You are correct sir, in both your comments. However:

And yes, that intermittent module will work. However, you can't use that whole thing from the ebay ad, you keep the festiva headlight and turn signal switch and housing, and simply take out the festiva wiper module/stalk (on the right hand side) and install the 626 module/stalk in place of it.
          No festiva for me ATM...

Thanks, hatchbck. I was reading too fast!

I might just head to the PnP today for one for myself

The variable intermittents are great, especailly for the drizzly rain coming up this time of year! I need to get them for all our cars, none of them have it, not even my MX6 (two have the intermittent, but none have the variable).

If you do end up getting one with cruise Jess, just take your finger and press hard against the cruise lettering, keep "wiping" the lettering off, eventually it'll come off. That is what I did on mine, and you can't even tell it ever had cruise.

Sugar cubes work awesome for that as well.
