  • Festiva Pickup TrkTva

    Hi guys...

Finally got the TrkTva on the road. Wiring done, paint buffed out, sound system in, F50 Badges attached, etc. Here are some of the latest photos.

The overall look is getting to where I want it.

The rear window from a mini pickup worked great.

Used the interior light from a Crown Vic. Needed a spacer which I made from particle board. Have chrome trim to finish it off after I upholster the interior.

Decided to badge it an F-50 for fun. Get lots of "Didn't know Ford made an F-50?"

The power antenna has been frenched in. Goes up when radio is turned on.

The nostrils from a Ford Explorer Sport were cut down to fit over the turn signals.

Next, the rest of the interior needs to be finished. My wife is making the door panels while I attend to insulation and carpeting.

BTW, new tires took the shimmy out of the steering. Last tank of gas was 43 mpg.

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

I love it! Looks great! Not a huge fan of the paint job but still it's super awesome. I like the rear window and the bed cover.

Thanks... The paint job looked better in my brain than in real life, but until I can afford the re-do, it'll have to live with it. Actually, it looks better in real life than the photos, but still not right.
