this 3m stuff is decent to mould and fit to shape around things.. did my ipod and phone as test runs.. doing mums bike during the week.. What would it cost to get a heap of this stuff from your mate and shipped to aus ?

Clearcoat and polish, it may actually look like real carbon fiber when the clear adds some depth. Looks good and I was gonna try it but hadn't had the time. Nice touch!

To paint it like carbon fiber, buy some of that rubber tacky non-slip pad with square holes, then spray light silver through it, shift it diagonally a bit, and spray dark graphite grey through it, then high-gloss clearcoat the whole thing.

nah it has a dry carbon fiber look to it... which is the real light stuff anyway. the shiny stuff is for ricers
