  • Best paint removing method?

What's the best way to remove paint from a spray bombed engine bay? Oven cleaner? Wet sand? I want to keep the og paint underneath in tact

Try SuperClean. It's pretty good about removing rattlecan paint without taking off the factory enamel. Let it soak in for a few minutes and then use a brush. It may take a few treatments.

Oven cleaner will take it down to the metal like stripper.

Those will for sure remove the paint underneath. I just want to remove the top layer of spray paint

That aircraft auto paint stripper that we sell at autozone will take it off. Let it touch the skin and it feels like someone holding a cigerette to your skin. Just spray and wash off. Good to go!
